Pacific Diam Ltd, established in 1995, is a leading Hong Kong-based diamond manufacturer with global Trading and marketing enterprises. Pacific Diam, together with a handpicked management team, has created a unique, vertically integrated entity, which encompasses all aspects of the diamond industry, from trading through cutting, polishing, marketing, and retail distribution.

Pacific Diam Ltd started as a diamond trading company, and has since evolved rapidly into a major manufacturing business, producing the finest diamonds from rough stones and supplying them to jewelry stores and auction houses across the world. Our specialty lies in producing the finest cut diamonds, ranging from 0.50 carat to 30 carats. The quality and the value of each diamond are guaranteed by a Belgian HRD (Hoge Raad voor Diamant - Diamond High Council), (IGI) International Gemological Institute or American GIA (Gemological Institute of America) diamond certificate.

HRD and GIA are both non-profit institutions which establish standards for diamonds to be compared. For further safety, HRD seals each certified diamond in a plastic holder together with a microfilm of the certificate to prevent tampering.

Each rough stone we get has been meticulously analyzed by us, before being carefully crafted into a beautiful diamond by our experienced diamond cutters.  Our philosophy is that we rather sacrifice the size of the diamond for better proportions to ensure maximal brilliancy.   A slightly smaller diamond with excellent proportions will sparkle a lot more than a larger diamond with poor proportions. 

Hence, most of our diamonds have dimensions that are rated "Very good" or even "excellent" according to 3rd party graders such as GIA and HRD.  Furthermore, since we are manufacturers, you will get the lowest price possible.  Most big diamond sellers, whether they are retail or online stores, buy from people like us to sell it to you.

A visit to the Pacific Diam Ltd is a relaxed experience, largely an educational process that begins with an explanation of the 4 C's, but reaches far beyond the basics. We begin by determining what shape and carat weight a client is interested in and then offer a broad range of choices for consideration. It is extremely important to look at diamonds loose. The color of a setting might affect the color of the diamond and a setting might hide inclusions that you would only be able to see when loose. And of course, there is no way to accurately determine a diamonds correct carat weight once it's in a setting.

We always present diamonds loose in a side-by-side comparison, something many merchants can not do, because they don't stock many different diamonds or won't do because they are not confident that their diamonds will stand up to such a comparison. The diamonds we show are diamonds cut to our exacting specifications in our factories.

Almost every diamond we sell comes with a detailed, written grading report from one of the four major independent laboratories, mostly from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This gives you confidence in knowing that we are honest in our grading. As a special service for our clients, we can provide you with an appraisal from an independent appraiser such as the Universal Gemological Laboratory or the International Gemological Institute. Unlike most retailers we don't feel it's ethical to appraise an item that we are selling. This independent appraisal reconfirms that your diamond has been accurately graded and also gives you a replacement value, which you will need if you will be insuring your diamond or jewelry. It also shows you how much you saved by buying direct.
